It started as a concept in 2014; 8 years later this dream came to fruition with the purchase of another herbalist’s supplies, and Arctic Apothecary was born. Nestled in the swampy lowlands in the tiny village of Salcha, Alaska, Andria Bond was inspired by the healing properties of the flora surrounding her. Now she is finally able to share her passion for the healing powers of the wild with her botanical solutions and natural medicines concocted with love and a little bit of magic.

Arctic Apothecary strives to provide healthy, traditional, whole plant medicine to consumers, while being conscious of environmental, cultural, and sustainability issues. We believe in the long history of plant medicine and in improving the health of our clients while honoring the health of plant species and the planet. We ethically grow, harvest, and source our materials; do not over-harvest or contribute to over-harvesting or endangering of threatened species; try to be aware of cultural issues surrounding the plants we use; and pay fair wages for labor or products we purchase.
